Um, Yeah, Wha, Who?
Whooo! It's been a few months now hasn't it? So, lets get down to business first ... Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy B-Day to Mika, Dad, Lita, Me, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to all my friends and family in the universe. :D
Now, where have I been? In the land of busy. Wrapped up my first semester of school back in December and what a semester! I took a three week hiatus to celebrate my straight A victory lap. :D Those A's were not hard to come by, lemme tell you. And I spent the holiday time really focused on my family. I missed them! Sooo not easy being there for them for every breath and whim only to now have a few moments to spare before an exam, test, presentation or quiz. But all good things must have an end. I'll be back in school the week after next.
Speaking of ... I'd rather not bore you to much and ramble ... cause you know I be's like that. But let's catch up with a visual rendition of what I've been up to. Still scrappin', best believe that and had the joy to pick up another year as a Dream Team member for Creating Keepsakes Magazine. So ... that said ... I'll limit this post to personal stuff and blog about the rest tomorrow. But first, I gots to celebrate my fam.
There she is ... Little Miss Diva herself during Halloween 2008. She was, and I quote, "A Leopard Movie Star." I am not sure where she heard the title but she took it and ran with it. Why would I mind?
Consequently I have very few photos of Thanksgiving. I think I had passed out any way from all the homework and the 15 page paper my Argumentative English class required. If anyone wants to debate the pros of the two-party system, let me know! :P
Out with the 4, in with the 5! Yup, she turned 5 just a few short days ago. Enter the attitude, the joining into the adult conversation, the "Mommy, I told you I know how to do it." I've been pulling my hair out ever since she blew the candles out the cake. *Tiffany says that while totally sniffling that her baby is baby no mo.* I mean, I can't even get away with passing her off as a baby. Waaaa! And yeah, if you look ever so closely you'll notice she lost her two bottom-front teeth between the holidays. Double tooth fairy points score! I won't share the cliche ...
Maybe I will: she really wanted two front teeth for Christmas. :P Couldn't help myself!
Santa and her reindeer ushered the gift-sharing part of the season right along. I swear, she looks more like him everyday which would seem impossible. But clearly not!
Finally, there's this one which was taken today. We were playing around in her room deciding which Jasmine princess dress to pack, she's an avid fan, and snapping photos at the same time. Course, now she's got this funny knack of snappin' her eyes closed right at that particular moment when the whites of her eyes would be ... perfect. But no ... kids of scrapbookers know to evade and elude the soul-capturing shot. What she doesn't know is ... I don't really mind if she squints, pouts, makes a crazy face, whatever. I just love the time to hang with my girl.
