Summer Vacation is an Oxymoron

Playdates, skating, water parks, ice cream, hikes up the mountain, walks to the park, over night sleepovers, birthday parties ... summer vacation is a vacation for whom? Either way, it's time to share some of our favorite photos from the summer.

Let's not also forget that if you do visit the water park, you shouldn't let your pride get the best of you and ignore the fact that you can't swim. And I'm not talking about my little one. I'm talking about me! Because I almost drowned like a big dawg!

Can you believe I deleted, accidently, about 200 photos of a really fun playdate? Poop! They were the best shots from the summer too!

Hey, that's me! Hubba, hubba!

She's starting to become disinterested in my photo-taking. It's just a phase, right?

Ahh, the annual Virginia Beach Hermit Crab Festival. I love these little guys. Even though they stink.

I love, love, love the fact that my Dad is retired and wants to hang out all the time. Poor guy! Why he felt the need to put the Cowboy hat on top of the astronaut helmet is beyond me.

Boldly go where you can find the best wall murals around town! Love it!

Okay, one, those pictures are fabulous (looks like you had some awesome fun this summer)! And, two, that mural is out of this world! ;) Wish I had one like that around here...

OMG! If I lost that many pics I would need therapy! I'm still whining about that one pic that got deleted of my husband and son making a wood duck house. The stupid camera named it the first available number where an old pic had been deleted, so when I deleted the "old" stuff, the new picture was included.

I'm really enjoying your blog, Tiffany. It's a breath of fresh air! Thanks for the Shutterfly freebies!
