25 Days of Templates :: Karla Dudley

Only a few more days left to register for the 25 Days of Templates. And if you are registered, have I got a surprise for you! Karla Dudley created an amazing title companion pack just for this class! And, of course, she created them with her own signature handwriting and coordinating class kit fonts. Oh baby! She rocks!

Take the class, get the titles! Easy, peezy rice and cheesy!

Also, take a peak at one of the [modified] three planner pages! The one seen below is the individual layout planner. It includes room to drop a template thumbnail right into it so you can adapt your layout away from the computer!

So, are you sign-up or what?

25 Days of Templates :: November 20th

News. News. News.

Each registered student of 25 Days of Templates will receive a savings voucher for album prints at Shutterfly! Ooo, high five! I'll announce the savings amount soon.

Thank you Shutterfly for generously supporting this class. Now we have NO reason not to print the holiday albums. And yes, I am pointing at you specifically Miss Digital Scrapbooker!

Here are a few more layouts from the Paislee Press creative team using Template No. 4 in the 8.5x11 and 12x12 size. Template No. 4 is one of five training templates, which was specifically sketched to teach you a range of design and creative object-positioning techniques. I love this template because of it's simplicity. But it packs a large wallop of varying project creations!

We'll discuss it in detail and so much more in class! Therese and Peppermint, thank you for sharing your wonderful 25 Days inspired layouts with us!

25 Days of Templates :: November 17th

This lovely, 25 Days of Templates inspired layout is by Erica, one of the talented members of my creative team. Gorgeous! This template is for Day 2, I believe.

And hey! Today is the last day to sign-up and receive the $5 off early bird registration!

What a wonderful response to this class! Seriously, dudes! I mean dudettes ... we are going to have a really rockin' class session. I've been getting emails left and right and want to address your questions for those still planning out your classes for the remainder of 2009.

Tiffany, will we receive some sort of discount to print our books we make? YES! I am finalizing the details of this partnership today. But the short answer is ABSOLUTELY!

I have Photoshop CS2. In the write up for the class, it lists CS3 or CS4. Will everything work for me? For my write ups, I always list the programs I know will translate 100% from my videos and handouts without issue. Programs like Adobe Photoshop CS2, Elements 6.0 and below will pretty much do everything we discuss in class just with a different set of directions. I will note this in the reference guide and offer a different set of directions when applicable.

I’m really interested in your class and wanted to know if it’s something we have to keep up with on a daily basis?  I’m kinda pressed for time at the moment and wondered if we can take it at our leisure.  Also, do we get to save and keep the templates? Absolutely, you can take it at leisure. The information at reenepearson.com is available for a life-time. So if you'd like to join the class but actually complete the layouts and videos at a later date, that's perfectly fine!

I was thinking about taking the above class but I’ve never worked with templates – but want to learn, and thought this class would be a good way to do that.  Will this class teach me how to work with templates? Yes, this class is perfect for beginning template users. You will receive access to a bonus video tutorial, Beginning Template Scrapbooking on the first day. Any additional tips and techniques are demonstrated via video as well as in a detailed step-by-step PDF guide book. And because you have access to the materials for a life time, you can take your time perfecting each technique and topic.

Can I receive access to the kit and templates before class begins? I would love to, however, I am under a contractual obligation to release all items on December 1st.

I don't have many photos of Christmas as I am Jewish. Are the templates relatable to only Christmas? This class is template based and the templates will help you scrapbook any precious memory you hold dear. The kit contents, quotes, and bonus elements are more Christmas related. No matter how you and your family celebrate the season, I think

No matter how you celebrate the season, this class is first and foremost for template lovers and those who want to record their holiday memories quickly!

That covers most of what I've received. If you have a question I haven't addressed, please holler at me! I'm always happy to converse with a fellow scrappy friend!
