Not Just a Yes Woman

Tiff - just wondering if you'll be offering the Brushshop class again. Janie

Yes! Registration will reopen January 2010 right before Brushes the Sequel. :D Shh, don't tell nobody!

You mentioned at the DSE an Illustrator class? Are you still teaching one and when? Any more classes on the horizon? Melina

Yes! Fine tuning the details. Should have a release date in a few days! And yes, you bet your holiday Turkey stuffing I have one more class up my sleeve.

Where are the templates? I miss your template packs. Robin (email)

Yes! I am releasing eight new templates next Tuesday, 2 pagers and gradients inspired Here's a sneak peek at one!

How could you forget to share more layouts? I mean, isn't that what you do? Tiffany

Yes! Kind of weird to forget that!

Here's my rockin' favorite from the Keeping It Real class at the DSE. This layout is so technique heavy! I absolutely enjoyed sharing these tricks and will probably release them shortly to ere'one.

And just because I can't say yes all my life: it's cute when the pep squad, the local high school basketball team, the girl scouts, the fire men (especially the fire men), and any and all stand on the corner flagging me down to have my car washed in the summer. Thanks.

No! It is not cool to do that in the middle of the fall. Please stop doing that. I ain't gonna get my car cleaned; mother nature does it for me. That is all.

All right! Smooches scrap-tacular peeps!

Showing Off the Brushshop et al

Whoooo. That's right. Whooo. The past month has been a whirlwind for me. A beautiful, banging, blessed twirly-whirly ride of an adventure through the DSE, online classes, and yadda-yadda.

Soooo ... before I get back into the swing of things, I just gotta show off two layouts I used for my Brushes classes.

The Brushshop was really an amazing experience. Loved cyber-meeting all the students, answering questions, chatting. But it was certainly good times. And I can't wait to do it again!

Have a happy Tuesday, scrappy peeps!

What the Font?

It took 30+ hours to write, produce, edit, design, transmit, and print this article. It took me 5 minutes to read it today. And I love it! True ... I'm a bit biased.

CK is offering a free font download of CK Allison. Pick it up! It's one of the fonts featured in the article.

Template Tutorial Video :: Blending Photos + Paper using Gradients

My Guru template team members are such sweethearts! I recently picked their brains, ooo that sounds morbid, for ideas on a new set of video tutorials I am creating strictly for my Simply Tiffany templates. I call them template tutorials -- not so tough to remember.

Well, their first request was for a video tutorial describing the process I use to blend photos and paper using only gradients. Scrappable Template No. 44 uses this same process. So they ask, I do and I'm releasing it to any one and every one who wants to know more.

Just a few notes about the video, I used CS4 to record the technique but the same process will work in Photoshop Elements 6.0 & 7.0. The major difference will be that Elements users should not delete the layer mask that's included in the Gradient Fill layer. There is no 'button' to recreate the mask link in CS3/CS4 -- so keep it and paint it white if you want to have a clean/revealing mask!

Update! As of August 20. 2009, I have embedded the video tutorial in this post and you can download the template using the link below!

Check it out, let me know what you think and see what you create with this fine speci-mine!

You can download the template here:

Happy Creating!

What the {i}NSD!!!

Yeah, it's {i}NSD a.k.a. International Scrapbook Day ... Christmas (the present portion at least) for every scrapbooker. And I'm headed out in my best Saturday pajamas to do some online digi-goodness shopping. Usually, I'm telling hubby to let me use iNSD purchases as a Mother's Day gift. But this year, I'm prepared and saved some moolah/kablingy from the past few months as a little treat to me. Charrrrrrrge!

Hope to get some scrappin' done tonight with the new goodies. But I did manage to create a new piece last night:

Features goodies from Jen Wilson, CD and my newest Scrappables Template Collection #7. This one is #32 and all of my templates are 30% off today for iNSD. This is my favorite template from the set. :P

And if you're in the mood for a FREEBIE template, I got one here for LDD's Hoopla Template Challenge. You can post any layout created with this template for discount points applied to any LDD purchase before time runs out.

Download that here!

So with new goodies in hand and new templates, iNSD is all about pages which I'm really hungry to finish. Off to it! So what are you still doing hanging around my place? Go get your Betty and Wilma on too.
